Week 3

It looks like I will be making a page a week with those dailies of my youngest. LOL. I did not plan it this way, but it is definitely working out. This week I was assigned to use Little Yellow Bicycle's Making the Grade line, and well, what better photos then the Week 3?

Yes, I only have 4 photos. It was a 5 day week but here is what happened. I was in California for Thursday and Friday of that week. Thursday's picture was taken, but Friday's was not. I am sure in the bustle of the morning rush my inlaws felt a little overwhelmed. All is good.

These cork letters are so COOL! I wish I had a whole alpha out of them!

I love this cork board paper. It is a 12x12 sheet though. So I cut it down to 8.5x11 because a double page spread with 12x12 paper is too much for me, and I reattached the edges to keep the look of the cork board.

Doing these weekly pages has me rethinking my albums right now though. Currently all my newest pages are in a couple of piles on my table. But that is because I am out of album space and it will be corrected. :-) But what I normally do it just shove them in the album. They are in order of when I create them and that is about it as far as organizing goes. But I think I need to start doing them by child. I am going to do this going forward, but going backwards is daunting!! Anyone out there ever decide and take action on changing up your albums??? Advice? Tips? Horror stories you want to share??

Well, have a great Wednesday everyone! Thanks for stopping by!

  1. I love that you're taking a photo a day and then compiling them into layouts. This is awesome!

  2. ah! Very sweet!! I decided to do each child an album, then I have a family album with general stuff, then a personal album for my hubby and me--I know it sounds complicated over the top but I couldn't think of any other way to do it!
